The first tournament held in 1971, 48 years ago. After a few tournaments in the early 1970's in the history of the event came a long break, which lasted until 2011. In 2011-2014 the tournament was part of the ITF Circuit and only in 2015 received the Internatioanl status in the WTA calendar.
