Dongfeng Motor Wuhan Open
The tournament was founded in 2014, 10 years ago, and it is one of three Women's Tennis Association events in China that were new to the calendar in 2014. Wuhan, the capital of Hubei province and the most populous city in Central China is the hometown of two-time Grand Slam champion Li NA. In 2020 - 2023, the event was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
