SLAM HISTORYLibema Open, 's-Hertogenbosch
The first tournament was held in 1996, 29 years ago, after the ladies' single and double competitions were added to the men's event. Up to and including 2014, the tournament was held one week before Wimbledon and was reckoned as a preparation tournament for Wimbledon. Since 2015 the event has been organized one week after French Open and is still seen as an ideal preparation for the world’s largest grass court tournament. In 2020-2021, the tournament was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
