Sunfeast Open Calcutta
The tournament was founded in 2005, 19 years ago. The event was a Tier III tournament and was played indoors green set. ITC, an Indian conglomerate based out of Kolkata, was the event's primary sponsor. The company owns the Sunfeast brand of biscuits. Since 2008, the Sunfeast Open has no longer been listed on the WTA calendar and has been canceled after running into trouble regarding venues.
