The event was founded in 2017, 8 years ago. The tournament is a part of the enhanced grass-court swing held the week before Wimbledon. Seven grass courts are being constructed at the luxury hotel resort Kaya Palazzo Belek under the expert guidance of the All England Lawn Tennis Club, Wimbledon. In 2021, the tournament was included in the ATP calendar on a single-year license.
