ATP Tour 250 Series
The ATP Tour 250 Series is the fifth tier in the men's tennis calendar after Grand Slam tournaments, ATP Tour Finals, ATP Tour Masters 1000, and ATP Tour 500. The first tournament of the new series, known as the World Series held in 1990. In 2000 the series was renamed the ATP International Series, and since 2009 it has been known as ATP Tour 250 Series. The winners of the tournaments are awarded 250 ranking points.
