The Grand Slam Cup was an annual tennis tournament for the best players in the year's Grand Slam events. The Grand Slam Cup was not recognized by the ATP and players did not receive points in the ATP rankings nor have it credited as an official career title. Only after discontinuation of the Cup in 1999, the ATP decided to give the event full recognition and added it to players' lists of official titles.
