Tel Aviv Watergen Open
The event was founded in 2022. The tournament has been issued as a single-year license for 2022 to replace Covid-scrapped Chinese events. It is the first time that the first-tier ATP Tour has returned to Israel since 1996, thanks to a joint effort by the Israel Tennis Association and Watergen, the competition’s official sponsor. From 1979 to 1996, Tel Aviv hosted an ATP-level event called Joyce Eisenberg Israel Open. In 2023, the tournament was canceled due to the ongoing Israel–Hamas war.
